Good News:

Lea Fridman (first author), together with Toby Zipper, KBCC faculty from other disciplines and faculty from European graduate and undergraduate schools, have just published the lead article in a peer-reviewed article: “Team As Support: (TAS) How Building Psychological Safety into Classroom Design Led to Higher Performance and More” in the journal E-Mentor. You can read the article here:  https://www.e-mentor.edu.pl/artykul/index/numer/108/id/1700. This is a Kingsborough-inspired and research-based pedagogy. In their reflective writing, students themselves have commented on the mental health value of their experiences. Lea and Toby will offer webinars to introduce faculty to TAS and train those interested in bringing this transformative method into their own teaching. For more information, contact Lea ([email protected]) or Toby ([email protected]).
