A Message from Hope Parisi It has been my pleasure to have served in the role of Faculty Mentor for our department, 2018-2025. As we know, having the space for faculty development is key for professionalism and we are fortunate to hold it as a priority. I learned a great deal from all of you, and I enjoyed the collaboration and camaraderie. You can view summaries by topic-session of PD conducted through this role via our KCC English CUNY Academic Commons website, https://kccenglishonline.commons.gc.cuny.edu/faculty-mentor-pds/. I look forward to this fall’s upcoming PD sessions as part of our comp program and other offerings. A Note about the Newsletter A message from Jane Weiss, News editor: The next newsletter will come out on Monday 22 September 2025. Send items to be included by Friday 19 September 2025 to Jane Weiss at [email protected]. Please keep items brief (preferably 100 or fewer words). Longer items will be abridged. Many faculty members would like to learn more about colleagues’ areas of scholarship, so if you would like to share what you’re working on, the Newsletter will welcome descriptions of your research and recent or upcoming presentations, publications, performances, and creative achievements of all kinds.
