The work of hiring, scheduling peer observations, reviewing promotion, tenure, and sabbatical applications at the department level are some of this committee’s major responsibilities; it’s always chaired by the Department Chairperson. Members: Chairperson: Ann Del Principe, Rick Armstrong, Christine Rudisel, Cheryl Smith COURSE REVIEW COMMITTEEThe CRC is the main committee for our composition sequence (English 12 and English 24). This committee is charged with defining course outcomes and curriculum guides for those courses as well as designing the mechanics of cross grading and much, much more! Visit the Composition Program website for information about this committee.Members: CURRICULUM COMMITTEECurricular work is an essential function of any academic department, and course- and program-level decisions should be made in a transparent and collective way. Our department has much curricular work to do in order to update our current offerings, propose new offerings, and design new programs of study (Liberal Arts concentrations and, perhaps, a major with different specializations).
